In our industry, which thrives on fast and reliable transport, there is a particularly great responsibility towards resources and the environment. The good thing is that there is also particularly great potential for change and optimization here. We make use of this potential.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are aware of our great ecological responsibility and act accordingly: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We make conscious and careful use of the resources available to us, such as fossil fuels. And we find environmentally friendly alternatives to them – such as renewable energies. For instance, we already use 100% green electricity at all German logistics sites of the LGI Group, are gradually converting our company car fleet to electric vehicles, and are testing alternative fuels.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Wherever it is possible and makes sense, we use photovoltaic systems to generate energy efficiently. As a matter of principle, we build or lease new logistics properties taking into account aspects of sustainable, ecological and energy-conscious construction and equip them with modern, preferably energy-efficient technology.\u00a0
Thanks to our continuous improvement process, we are now also able to offer sustainable transport solutions and resource-efficient storage. Our objective is to continuously reduce LGI’s greenhouse gas emissions to ultimately achieve net-zero emissions along the value chain.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n \r\n
