Social commitment for the Tennental village community
Simply being human – this is the guiding principle of Tennentaler Gemeinschaften e. V. from Deckenpfronn. The inclusive village community, which is currently home to around 200 people with and without assistance needs, offers a wide range of public services as well as integration assistance services.
But what does the LGI have to do with the Tennental village community? As part of the WIN-Charta initiative of the state of Baden-Württemberg, we support the organisation and want to take responsibility towards society and the region.
Our commitment spans various areas. Firstly, we have donated iPads to the Tennental village community, which have been given a second life through refurbishing. The iPads refurbished by reuseIT are used for language training for people with assistance needs. On the other hand, our trainees and students have organised several workshops on IT skills. In addition to the basic handling of smartphones, tablets and notebooks, practical questions were also clarified and what was learnt was tried out on the devices straight away. We also donated a permanently installed trampoline. Together with Tennental, we have thus created a diverse meeting opportunity in the village community in the spirit of an inclusive society.
