Data security is becoming increasingly important
With reuseIT, LGI not only offers refurbished devices to interested consumers. In addition, we are a reliable partner for companies for the Europe-wide take-back and marketing of ICT equipment that is no longer needed. In this process, the devices are not only returned in a traceable and controlled manner, but also all data from the devices is deleted in an audit-proof manner or the data carriers are destroyed.
This service continues to gain in importance, because the topics of data security and data protection have become a central success factor for companies in a digital and networked world. As part of a new customer project in the field of IT financing, we have significantly expanded our software solution for auditing, deleting, testing and using ICT devices.
This made it possible to tailor our solution to the specific requirements. The integration into the system world of our new customer not only enables efficient processing of the devices, but also improves data quality along the entire business process.
LGI reuseIT GmbH, a 100% subsidiary of LGI Logistics Group International, was newly founded for the complete processing. In doing so, it uses LGI’s existing logistics structure and relies on its existing many years of expertise with regard to the roll-back of IT equipment.
