ELANDERS RECEIVES EU APPROVAL FOR ITS BINDING CORPORATE RULES (BCR)
The Elanders Group promotes a culture and practices regarding the protection of personal data in accordance with the European General Data Protection Regulation (EU-GDPR). Therefore, Elanders has implemented Binding Corporate Rules (BCR) that are internal personal data protection rules which Elanders as a multinational company has adopted in order to regulate the processing of personal data among Elanders Group companies world-wide. The BCR allow Elanders subsidiaries to transfer personal data originating from the European Economic Area (EEA) to Elanders subsidiaries located outside of the EEA in compliance with the EU-GDPR.
The Binding Corporate Rules of the Elanders Group (incl. multiple additional documents and processes) have been approved on 28 January 2021 by the European Data Protection Board in Brussels, the Swedish Data Protection Authority (as lead authority) and the Data Protection Authorities in the EU countries where Elanders has business operations.

Elanders is the third Swedish company to receive an approval of its Binding Corporate Rules.
