Area contract freight forwarding

In area freight forwarding, deliveries are picked up from different companies in a region during a collection tour. The individual deliveries are then grouped into their areas, for example based on postal codes, and picked. The subdivided deliveries are then combined into one load and transported to the destination.

With area freight forwarding, the focus is on supply optimization for companies. With area freight forwarding, companies can reduce transport costs, reduce the number of means of transport, reduce wear and tear on means of transport and much more. LGI offers the right strategy for this.
