How does e-commerce fulfillment work with LGI?

The starting point is usually the set-up of a new online shop or the further development of an existing web shop, or the connection to our system world. From here, we take care of the complete fulfilment of your online business – nationally and internationally. And of course we adapt our fulfilment solutions to your individual requirements. Here is an overview of our e-commerce fulfilment services.

1. Receipt of goods

Control against the agreed SLA

2. Storage

Placement of the accepted goods in the warehouse.
Selection of the best possible storage type depending on the product (e.g. hanging goods, flat, etc.)

3. Warehousing

Storage and execution of controls and inventories (“wall to wall” inventory).
Continuous optimization and condensation of the warehouse stock
Continuous transparency for you as a customer about your stock of goods.

4. Picking

Scanner-supported goods removal, immediately upon incoming order.
100 % security through scanning of the product code upon removal.
Transfer of the picked order to the packing stations

5. Packing

Renewed scanner-supported control – matching of product and order (quantity and product).
Packaging – according to customer-specific packaging guidelines
Customised shipping documents and return labels (on request or depending on the channel), as well as inserts
Use of individual packaging materials possible (e.g. tissue paper, printed boxes, stickers)
Package is made ready for shipment (transport-safe packaging).

6. Shipping

Generation of the shipping label
Handover to selected carrier – depending on customer requirements
Rate shopping to ensure the best individual mix of service level and price for each order.

7. Returns

Checking the return on the basis of the existing data record for the order (RMA).
Checking of quality and condition (e.g. matching hanger, labels available)
Reprocessing of the goods for the online store, declaration as B-goods or similar – depending on the customer agreement.
