What certifications does LGI have?

LGI is certified to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, EN ISO 13485, and ISO/IEC 27001, and is recognized as an AEO (Authorized Economic Operator). For the healthcare industry, GDP certification also applies. Through its IT subsidiary HELIX, the company holds an additional, independent ISO/IEC 27001 certification for its IT operations.

What does AEO certification mean for LGI’s customers?

AEO (Authorized Economic Operator) certification confirms that LGI is a reliable economic operator under customs law. Since 2009, this has enabled customers to benefit from simplified customs procedures throughout the EU. This speeds up cross-border shipments and reduces the administrative burden associated with customs inspections.

How does LGI ensure continuous process improvement?

LGI trains internal LEAN experts within its own LGI Operating System (LOS) department and puts the LEAN management philosophy into practice on a daily basis. In addition, continuous improvement processes (CIP) and KAIZEN projects are underway. Core processes are consistently measured and safeguarded through process FMEA analyses and an error-tracking system.
